YAMAHA
Yamaha R15 which was already released in Blue and Black colors has been released recently in Blazing Red. We have contacted a Yamaha showroom manager and here is the quick interview that he gave for Squaky via phone :
We have launched Yamaha R15 in a new Blazing Red color, since we received lots of email from our buyers and other Yamaha lovers from all over India. This bike will be of the same price and is being booked out like a hot cake.
We have also planned to release yet another bike in 150cc segment the FZ - 16. It will feature wide tubeless tyres, Highest fuel efficiency in its class. It will be priced around 73k (on road).
BAJAJ
The much awaited Bajaj XCD Sprint was expected to hit the Indian roads in August but it seems that Bajaj has postponed its release. It is a 125cc bike wit Disc brakes, wide tyres, Nitrox shock absorbers, pulsar's tail, etc. It is expected to have a price tage of around 55-57k.
Bajaj will also release its Discover for the 150cc segment and the release date has not yet been confirmed. It will feature 14.1ps power, 5 Manual gears, Digital speedometer, nitrox shocks, disc brake.
Kawasaki will launch its super bikes in India along with Bajaj. That is why Bajaj has opened Bajaj pro-biking showrooms all over India. As a Initial step they have moved the 200cc and above segment bikes as an exclusive to that showrooms. You can order a 200cc pulsar, Avenger, 225cc pulsar only from these pro-biking showrooms. Here you have facilities to test ride these monsters using a real time simulator as well as on-road testing.
A new Monster from Kawasaki Bajaj will be Ninja-250R. It will feature a DOHC 249cc Parallel Twin-cylinder Engine, Twin Keihin CVK30 carburetors fine-tuned for good power feel and low fuel consumption, Latest generation Denso radiator offers superior liquid cooling , Six-speed Transmission, 17” wheels, Double disc brakes, 18 litre fuel tank, colors like : Lime Green, Ebony, Passion Red, Candy Plasma Blue.
TVS
The most awaited TVS Taurus (aka) Fiero F3 boasts the first bike in India to be designed with a twin front disc as well as Radiator cooled engines. But the delay in its release has made it to lag in the Sports bike race with its competitor Yamaha. This bike has a 250cc radiator cooled engine, Exhaust hidden under its tail (seat), etc.
KINETIC
Kinetic in collaboration with Hoysung of Korea has completely updated its model range with a fully imported cruiser, Aquila. It features a 250 cc V twin, Liquid cooled engine, 26 bhp power, 14 litres fuel tank, Five-speed gears and Broad tyres with Disc brakes & Alloy wheels.
HONDA
We also expect that Honda is about to release its 250, 1000cc categories of CBR series in India to answer the other sport bikes. Honda's taking that level of performance—and handling—to a whole new level. New engine. New chassis, Moto-GP style exhaust.
